What is a description of the young woman with whom Ichabod is enamored in "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow"? Why is he in love with her?

Later, he gazes upon the rich fields of wheat, rye, and Indian corns, as well as the orchards of various fruit trees. So, when Ichabod enters the mansion after taking in the splendor of the van Tassel farm, "the conquest of his heart was complete." He, therefore, turns his attention to Katrina and he forms his plans on how to win the affections of the "peerless daughter" of the wealthy farmer.
